Lisa's Story

I had surgery six months ago because of a disease caused Sarcoidosis which infrared the heart and caused inflammation. I get a rapid heart beat (tachycardia). My heart went over 250 beats a minute when I wound up in the ER. For several weeks prior to my surgery I had been running back and forth to the ER trying to find out what was wrong because I knew about the lungs what I didn’t know was the disease was damaging my heart. A ICD and a Pacemaker has been implanted because the arrhythmia. It has been life changing mentally, spiritually and physically. I was hurt. I am still in recovery and on several meds for both the heart and the lungs.
