Lost 200 pounds.
Posted on 03/09/10 at 2:53 PM

Heart problems run in my family when my mom was my age she had her FIRST heart attack.  I am 44 and I had the gastric bypass 2 years ago because I weighed over 340lbs.  I needed a cpap machine to sleep and was on nadolol.  I had tried for years to lose weight without doing the surgery without success.  I have a spinal disease which makes exercise very diffucult.  Since doing the surgery I feel much better.  Feb 2 marked 2 years after surgery and I am still losing weight.  I know weigh 138 pounds and no longer need the cpap machine or the nadolol.  I notice a big difference with my blood tests since I adjusted my eating habits for the weight loss.
