Surviving/living with heart disease

Coronary Microvascular Syndrome
Posted on 03/11/10 at 5:25 PM

I was sent to the hospital with chest pains, shortness of breath, nausea and an abnormal EKG.  The ER doctor told me that the artery behind my heart was 95% blocked according to the EKG.  I was admitted into the hospital and underwent a angiogram.  That showed no heart disease.  My doctor diagnosed me with Coronary Microvascular Syndrome.  The treatment is nitroglycerin as needed, BP meds although my blood pressure is very low and has always been good.  I am 63 years old and experenced this when I was 61.

Has anyone else been diagnosed with this condition?  If so, what treatments are you having?

Thanks,   Sue
