Alliance Events

Go Red For Women strategic alliance partners share the mission of the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women movement, helping to raise awareness of the No. 1 killer of women – heart disease.  Upcoming events include:

 

• International Pageants Group will be hosting the annual pageant in Chicago mid-July, integrating Go Red For Women information into the orientation process and programming.  Mrs. International 2008, Laine Berry, and Miss International 2009, Erin Golden, participated in the national casting calls their reigning year.  Tickets for this event are available online.

• Red Hat Society annual conference, Brims by the Bay, will be held in San Diego, July 28-August 1, and will include a Go Red For Women booth in the "Hat District." 

• Romance Writers of America will feature an information booth and a breakout session with guest speaker Rose Marie Robertson, MD, American Heart Association Chief Science Officer in Orlando, July 30. Conference is open to RWA members only.

• WNBA Games featuring Zumba Fitness benefiting Go Red For Women highlight the third year of our partnership.  The 2009-2010 season has expanded to include a relationship with the NBA league as well.  2010-2011 NBA Season will continue to support the mission of Go Red For Women through its partnership with Zumba Fitness, schedule pending.
