Never dreamed it would happen to me!

I am a survivor of 2 heart attacks August 7th & 14th. I had 4 stents total placed because of 90% & 80% blockage. I never thought it would happen to me. My fathers side is the main factor. His father died at 42, Im 42 wow! Two brothers before 50, another brother had a heart attack and 1 stent & my father had bypass 6 stents. I am the 1st women in the family to be effected. Dont IGNORE symptoms it can save your life! I had symptoms like a MAN would. I think this is what GOD wants me here for to educate & help others.

My symptoms started a week prior. I would walk to the store & have chest pain. I was short of breath & had to sit and rest. It felt like a weight on my chest. It didnt happen daily that week prior. Finally on the 7th I had chest pain and my left arm went numb/tingly. I knew something was wrong, my bf called 911.

I know stress over the years didnt help. I also was smoking 2 packs a day. I am now  down to a half a pack, also trying the patches. I will quit to save my life. Cardiac rehab is next on my agenda to my recovery. I read it takes 8 weeks for your heart to fully heal. So I am taking things slowly. I have angina occasionally and have to use my nitro pills. At times I get down, wonder will it happen again, angry, frustrated, worried. I am a STRONG women & I know I will conquer this disease, God Bless to all of you Haddie from Minneapolis, Mn. Wishing all of you wellness!
