Heart disease is the number one killer in women in the United States, claiming more lives than all forms of cancer combined. We need you to make a difference.
Wondering how you can make a difference? Learn how to start a Go Red Fundraiser!
We’ve made significant strides in the battle for women against heart disease in the last 10 years since the first National Wear Red Day. The death rate for women and heart disease has dropped in the last 10 years, women’s guidelines created by the American Heart Association have educated millions of healthcare providers to recognize and treat heart disease in women, and the number of women aware of their No. 1 killer has jumped from 22% to well over 50%. We couldn’t make positive changes without donations by individuals like you. So help us keep going for another 10 years! The AHA uses all revenues from local and National Go Red For Women activities to support awareness, research, education and community programs to benefit women.
Start a Go Red For Women Fundraiser to help support women like you. It’s easy. Here’s how.
