Ella's Story

I lost my daughter in 2001 at the age of 23 from a enlarged heart. Not to long after that I went to the doctor for myself and my heart was beating very slow. It was beating at 15 percent. I was placed on medication immediately. My doctor told me if I had any sign of chest pain to go straight to the emergency room. When my daughter passed away she left her one year old son that I had to raise. He is 14 years old now and my heart is doing much better. It is not 100 percent but it is better than before. I am still on medication. It is at 60 to75 percent now.
