Could your business survive without women? Think about it. What would you do if your female customers started disappearing?
The sad reality is, those aren’t really hypothetical questions. Women are dying at an alarming rate at the hands of heart disease.
But there is something that corporations, like yours, can do to help. You see, heart disease is deadly, but it can be stopped. With the right information, education and care, heart disease in women can be treated, prevented and even ended. And we can’t help make that happen without much-needed funds – which is where you come in.
We know our program is working. In the last 10 years, more than 627,000 women have been saved from heart disease and 330 fewer are dying each day. In addition, women who Go Red are more likely to make healthy choices like these:
- Nearly 90 percent have made at least one healthy change in their daily lives
- More than 1/3 have lost weight
- More than 50 percent have increased the amount they exercise
- 6 out of 10 have made healthy changes to their diets
Though that’s a great start, we can’t be complacent with these numbers. And we can’t stop fighting until women stop dying.
Need more incentive? According to a 2012 Go Red for Women Membership Survey, we found that women care about companies that support causes. The result? Women are more likely to have a favorable opinion of those companies, and are more inclined to buy their products.
