  • Non-Hispanic Blacks had a rate of 340.1 in 2008 which declined to 289.9 in 2018.
  • Non-Hispanic Whites had a rate of 251.1 in 2008 which declined to 219.8 in 2018.
  • American Indian/Alaskan Native had a rate of 214.4 in 2008 which declined to 192.9 in 2018.
  • Hispanics had a rate of 190.8 in 2008 which declined to 158.3 in 2018.
  • Asian/Pacific Islanders had a rate of 156.5 in 2008 which declined to 127.5 in 2018.

Black adults are 32 percent are likely to die from CVD.
